Some lesions cannot safely be removed in clinic because of their size, location or complexity.
If further investigation or treatment is required, we can arrange referral to the appropriate specialist service. Lesions suspected for skin cancer, including melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma, will be referred urgently.
Some lesions are best monitored rather than removed and may be managed through our dermatology service.
